So you’ll continue to have access to the materials and if you find yourself in a situation you don’t feel ready for, our friendly support team will continue to provide valuable guidance. In addition, you’ll have access to our active community forum where you can connect with peers for advice, insights, and networking opportunities.

1. Be at least 18 years old (due to the experience requirement we recommend to be at least 23)
2. Have 4 years of journeyman level experience (within the past 10 years)
3. Have a Social Security or ITIN
You may substitute up to 3 years of experience with a specific degree. The CSLB has discretion over the total amount of educational credit that can be granted.
The licensing process can be as fast as 2 months.
COURSE TUITION (Varies based on the program selected.) State Application Fee: $450.00 (Paid directly to the state with the application.) Examination Fees: $51.43 for the Law and Business Exam $51.43 for the Trade Exam (These fees are paid directly to the CSLB’s approved testing vendor.) Fingerprinting: Approximately $75.00 Sole-Ownership Initial License Fee: $200.00 (Paid directly to the state after the student passes the exam.) Corp/Partners/JV/LLC Initial License Fee: $350.00 (Paid directly to the state after the student passes the exam.) Contractor’s Bond: Approximately $233 per year.
All you need is an internet connection and you’re ready to apply what you’ve learned in this course. You can do it in your kitchen, at a local café or even at a beach resort. It’s up to you.
